The Division was then ordered to begin the second phase of Operation Killer on 1 March. The final objective of this operation was to seize a line of hills directly north of Hoengsong. Upon arrival at Division on the morning of 26 February, the Company established a Command Post and was instructed to begin reconnaissance beyond the Division’s front at once.
