Following World War II, North Korea began training to wage war on South Korea. Inspired by the Soviet Union and after a mutual agreement with the United States, they set out to occupy the northern part of the country above the 38th Parallel. The Communist regime would supply training and all the mechanized and infantry equipment needed to stage an unprovoked war on South Korea. |
